When: March 10th - Networking Event/History of GWIS

About: At this networking event, Jennifer Ingram, the National GWIS president, will give a brief presentation on the history of GWIS. It is our 90th anniversary this year. Come celebrate with us, network with fellow women in science, and meet the new officers for GWIS 2011! Refreshments will also be served at this event. When: March 22nd - Community Outreach - Weatherstone Elementary Science Fair

About: Weatherstone elementary school would love GWIS members and women scientists in the area to serve as judges at their science fair. Stay after to meet with the kids, who would love to meet and great with "real scientists"! What a great way to encourage the children in our community to explore science! When: March 26th - Community Outreach - Raffle at Southern Season

About: We are looking for a few helpers to conduct science demonstrations and sell raffle tickets for prizes. If you can't help out, stop by, say hello, and buy a ticket!
